philpot 4,969
Interesting topic. So far, I have not set my guns to a given pressure for storage but as I now have a few more which may not get used through the winter, perhaps it needs some thought. Had this topic not come up, I would have left them at whatever pressure they were left at. It is however unlikely, now that I think about it, that they will not be used even if only at the indoor range or outdoor range, depending on how cold it is so I doubt that any of them will just sit unused for the winter period. lurchers 2,763
I've just checked it and it's down to 170bar but the cylinder screwed in a bit as it was a tad lose,is this the reason why or do I need to take the stock off to tighten it up. Quote Link to post

Phil I don't think it matters that much Phil, My understanding is that they need a bit of pressure behind the seals during storage - not necessarily full pressure, just a bit. I keep mine above 100bar and check them once a week to make sure there's no leaks. Mine have always been ok like this 1 Quote Link to post
steg 609
Reckon the play safe option is to just blast a few mags through every couple of weeks (even into an old pillow or something) and not worry about the fill pressure (just keep it in the green) my two pence worth anyway! But then again..I've only got the one to worry about so easy for me. 2 Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
I store mine which is ever left in it when I lock it away, then top up when I am out again. But lately I have noticed it is loosing air,so of to the man cave with it. 1 Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
I store it at room pressure, I do not have a compression or decompression chamber I can use. I do however fill it up after use, because once I did go shooting with a gun that I had forgotten to fill, so routine is now back, clean, fill, store! Quote Link to post
