mark williams 7,561
Lads, at what sort of pressure do you store your pcp at between trips out. Bare in mind that many a week can pass in winter between trips out. I noticed that when I bought both of my HW 100`s new, they came out of the box at a little under 150 bar. atb Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
Good topic. I dont store them, but if I do, as in 'not get out', Ill leave them as is really. There only ever around the middle, as you point out, 150'ish, anyways. But I have stored my HM with a full tank before. For a while too. No problems with performance either. I think I like to think I like to keep the pressure as high as possible... I dont know why and I dont fully understand if this is a good thing. Theory being, if somethings full, nothing can get in, so to speak. Thinking though, say you were gonna store a rifle which had a full tank, would you just run it down before hand? Quote Link to post

Fellman Mark 607
I store my hw100 full all the time and never had a problems with it Quote Link to post
steg 609
Just had a quick look at weihrauch's 100 manual.. page 25 recommends "some" air pressure is maintained in the cylinder when not in use to stop crap getting in and affecting the valve operation and shape of the seals. Page 30 says..the cylinder has to be emptied if not used for more than 4 weeks to get out condense water..? Edited November 28, 2016 by steg Quote Link to post

Take it back to the shop mate. Being new, it'll be under warranty. Don't be tempted to open it yourself - you'll invalidate your warranty. Quote Link to post
