This ain't no swingers forum v'man...   I meant.   Bluddeh Stella arturisss.

Reckon the play safe option is to just blast a few mags through every couple of weeks (even into an old pillow or something) and not worry about the fill pressure (just keep it in the green) my two p

Checked it again today and it's still holding it's own so it must of just needed that little nip on the cylinder

Good topic.

I dont store them, but if I do, as in 'not get out', Ill leave them as is really. There only ever around the middle, as you point out, 150'ish, anyways. But I have stored my HM with a full tank before. For a while too. No problems with performance either. I think I like to think I like to keep the pressure as high as possible... I dont know why and I dont fully understand if this is a good thing. Theory being, if somethings full, nothing can get in, so to speak.

Thinking though, say you were gonna store a rifle which had a full tank, would you just run it down before hand?

Just had a quick look at weihrauch's 100 manual.. page 25 recommends "some" air pressure is maintained in the cylinder when not in use to stop crap getting in and affecting the valve operation and shape of the seals.

Page 30 says..the cylinder has to be emptied if not used for more than 4 weeks to get out condense water..?

I've just checked my hw100 and I stored it at 200bar I've never put a pellet through it yet and when I've just checked it had about 40bar in it.like I said this is brand new off the shelf and never fired it yet what do you think.

Take it back to the shop mate.

Being new, it'll be under warranty.

Don't be tempted to open it yourself - you'll invalidate your warranty.
