Logun S-16S Jammed

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

To start i would like to say that its great to be on this forum and that i am hoping you guys can help me out. I have a Logan S-16s that my farther gave to me years ago. You can find them cheap online everywhere like in the link below, It is simply an awesome air gun, the design is back and sleek an when you hold it you know it has been manufactured to perfection. Once the scope is set up [bANNED TEXT] the shot is so precise i was surprised at the distance the pellet would go and still hit a target. I have always kept her filled up with gas and greased up to try and keep the Logan in the best shape possible. Unfortunately/inevitably the other day my Logan jammed up on me and i have no idea on how to un-jam the gun. The main problem is i don't know where the pellet has got jammed and i can't be taking the gun to pieces. So is there anything i can try before i go to see the gun smith?? Or am i pretty screwed? I'm no expert when it comes to guns so bare with me please guys.

SPECS

Make: Logun

Model: S-16s

Firstly, welcome aboard.

I can honestly say that I am totally rubbish at mechanical things so I cannot help you at all but I an guessing that someone will be along who could advise. I wish you well with your problem. but if you don't want to strip the gun down, taking it in to an RFD is your best course of action.

Turns out the Logun S-16 site has a forum and jamming seems to be a common problem. People are using coat hangers if the pellet is jammed in the exit end of the rifle. I still need to locate the pellet.

Thanks for the link!! i will be back tomorrow

I am taking the Logun into the local gun smith tomorrow after work and see what he has to say. I had taken the silencer off tried to fire and still jammed that is about as far as i have got, not really wanting to poke coat hangers down the barrel....

See what he has to say then i will get back to you guys.

Thanks
