Not much to write home about.. got there first light and dove off the wires while i was getting the wellies on and not quite light. Bunny 5 mins later..easy 30 yard shot (slight mixy ..under the hedge for reynard) and then the rest of the afternoon waiting for for the crows..which didn't turn up! Managed a pigeon anyway. Couple of piccies anyway lads..

 

 

 

P.s..only phone pics lads and had to make do with what I had. (Middle pic) Got out anyway lads..

Chasing rainbows..haha! Must admit i was very tempted mark..never been so close to one, looked like it touched down in the next field!

 

Handy bit of kit..often take them but rarely use them, hide them in a hedge and pick them up on the way back. Pleased I did that day because that pigeon would have been a no no with them branches..had about an inch to thread the pellet through ?

Nice to get out Steg, I am stir crazy at the moment and sooooo wanting to be off with the gun.

 

Today..................booked the range for the day to zero 4 guns as they have all had scope changes and two have not been tried at any distance. A phone call from my son in law telling me that the garage will be closed for new ramps fitting after today and as my car needed MOT testing next week, it had to be done today or go somewhere else. I didn't want to find another garage and after a night of -6 degrees, it was perhaps a better bet to give it a miss......................ice on the inside of my windscreen this morning, it passed the test so I can forget that now.

 

Dentist at 10.30am tomorrow so we will see what the weather is like later in the week.

been out bashing rabbits tonight and my mate asked me to bring mine, not used them for ages but he loves them and for static ambush there spot on!

Kicking myself to be honest tom...thing is it stayed put for almost 10 minutes. I could have maybe getting a better one if I'd moved into the next field. Oh well..
