One thing that the tar and oil did do was that it made enough of a barrier to stop fungal infections spreading and infections getting in. caerau82 9 Posted December 10, 2016 Report Share Posted December 10, 2016 This sounds like a similar problem that l seen with a terrier man a good friend that has keep terrier for over 40 years the dog would spin around after he's tail over a shot period eating it away this was not the first time for it to happen to him for veterinary advice and information he had on the breeding for the terrier line he keeps it was put down to birth problem for the breed line become to close this my not be the issue with your terrier just some advice on I've seen and be told Quote Link to post
