I had a dog gifted to me because it had walked in a big spot .just couldn't keep Charlie boy still and wouldn't bolt.I went on to bolt a lot of foxes with the said dog.and even dug to him several times.

I had 4half year old dog jack last week well bred from supposedly decent lines father/daughter mating. I bought him with a couple more dogs and bitchs of similar breeding at the time they weren't ta work out for us for other reasons. Anyway worked this dog going well and with all that I was left with I bred a couple litters out him just ta have a few coming on that be our own anyway the cur has jacked it happens so I'v culled the cur. I also decided ta cull anything directly of this cur ta stop a line curs in its tracks I think it's a right decision some don't.

A failed earth dog will serve another kennel that wishes to utilise its other terrier attributes,at times a cull is better than a life on the merry-go-round.Culling the progeny before they have had a chance is an act of feckless ignorance and stupidity.

He didn't have the heart for it anymore that's what I put it down ta the signs were already there just it put down to been start of the season and that it finally showed he didn't anymore so it's best to end and he wasn't over 1 meter handy diging a tidy bitch was dropped in after went the exact spot to were the dog had been so that does it in my book he failed it happens. I keep me dogs in good order always have and he was never over worked not like others I had over the years. I could have just made up a story about his heroic effort ta ground and how he was dead by the time I broke through and then just sold of his off spring ta lads for a good price cause I'm over stocked Id rather be honest about it than go that way about things.

Culling whether emotive or not for a person is the only way to prevent shite prevailing .The decision starts and ends with the owner and he must stand by it .I've cringed in the past at some decisions by lads , seen some that i thought were definately bad decisions BUT its their dog,their choice and I would rather a dog goes that way than get recycled as this and that like some do ,going through the hands of messers ,bred and abused .I'm not one to call a dog for any one bad performance but a culmination is something to stamp out not pass on .Pity there arnt more with the attitude as there would be a lot less shite about .

I've seen that dog dug in different places.and he was a solid worker. It was a decision that had to be made.but that's terrier work.chesney has to be given credit. It would be worse if he sold it on.fair play for been honest
