Slow Season

End of November looming andmy season not even started properly. My dogs are not running fit and I seem to be lacking enthusiasm , lets see if things change now the frosts have started biting. The dogs are chomping at the bit to get started. Hows everyone elses season started off?

That's a shame mate. I had shit start to last season its a bit gutting not getting out for a month or so then having to get the dogs fit again through injury. Made up for it so far this season dogs are on fire atm. Hope they get no injurys and keep up the hard work for the rest of the season.

Done numbers on everything this season day or night really enjoyed it been one of my best ever done 4s 3s and loads of 2s with my dog this year looking forward to see how we do after Christmas ??

stop start for me too, all thought the bitch holds condition very well she is very driven not alot you can do when your at the weathers mercy. She has thrown in a couple of ok pulls but not hit double figure yet buts she can only run what is put in front of her...

Not the same these days, grass still growing, and high temperatures, a hard run takes some recovering from for a dog with a bit of coat on them

Ye shit start with me to between 1 thing and another I can't find the time. Then got going today to a place i always get a few bits and bobs but noting not even a run to say I'm gutted is an understatement. Hopefully get the lamp on a few bunny's this week and find a few big ones next weekend

Had a decent start on some new permissions but some old permissions low on numbers. Two out of three dogs already been out of action with rips and cuts. £700 in three weeks on vet bills!

Last season was a cracker with my young dog and he's jest going from strength to strength this season catching big bag night after night and doing it with style. Not a show man at all but put him in two last here he one in some big classes. Iv had handy dogs in past and had 5/6 good seasons only to then loose dogs to injury so I now my dog is only 2 and half now but I'm happy to say I have a good 6month old pup here out of him and he's sired 3 litter to some good bitches so I hope the rabbit numbers are still strong next season
