lurcher man george 16 Posted November 27, 2016 Report Share Posted November 27, 2016 Basically for the last 3 or 4 trips out inculding tonight my old dogs not performing like normal I haven't change his diet training or anything about him about he seems like he's lacking in speed and drive I've cheeked him all over and everything seems to be ok anyone for any ideas what could be up with him Quote Link to post

trigger2 3,133 Posted November 27, 2016 Report Share Posted November 27, 2016 i had problems with mine a few season ago mate he would go down the beam flat out as usual strike at a rabbit and if he missed it more often than not he would pull off it way before the hedge then he would probably catch the next 2 or 3. sometimes he would limp when retrieving rabbits back all examinations that i done came back good. in the end it was his front dew claws getting caught up as he was running at times or going down for a strike hence why after he missed a squatter he wasnt over enthusiastic at catching it. had them removed never had a problem since. also a good bone man is worth a visit they are has cheap as chips and worth there weight in gold. it could well be any number of things. Matt Yeah I'm looking all over the web for a bone doctor carnt find a number for one and I've been putting him on bunnys that should be no problem to him n his just lack drive to pick them up Quote Link to post
