morton 5,368
Bull crosses can't run haha have a word with yaself Percentages,i owned one that was mustard on long, fast, arduous gallops, the other 3/4,s of its breeding more than likely made up for that. There lies the biggest problem with Bull folklore, the other percentage in the majority of Bull breeding makes up for what the Bull lacks, fact.Another fact is the Bull in many of the finest Bull bred lurchers makes the dog what it is.The dog was bred to suit a selective kennel and those kennels suited the Bull bred lurcher. The feckwits, nuggets, ego,s and chancers slinked into the breed and ruined the dogs reputation,it was never bred for Hares and a fleetness of foot, its breeding enhances a fleeter footed jukel, again at times. The majority bred are dross, the majority of their owners fall into the same category, the rest own some remarkable hunting companions. 3 Quote Link to post
downsouth 7,405
One of the reasons a lot of bull crosses look slow and clumsy is because they need to be run at the correct weight and condition and a lot of bull cross owners would struggle to condition their hair. 8 Quote Link to post

The reason why nuggets, standing on street corners, like the breed is because they look in condition when they are not in condition. They are slow because they are slow and making excuses up for their lack of pace is another excuse for an excuse, the only thing that makes a bull x run faster is the other percentages in the breeding, fit or otherwise. 2 Quote Link to post

j1985 1,984
I think a lot of lads keep their bull xs in shit condition because even in shit condition they will get the job done most lads with bull xs are using them for anyway. Seen some real unfit bull xs still do what most other xs wouldn't and couldn't do. Quote Link to post
