cheers mate. when i say 12 out of the 13 i ment he caught 13 rabbits in total and there is just 12 in the bag as he dropped one and it made its escape. 12 out of 13 runs would be some going ive never had a dog do that round here.

good going the pup :thumbs: , the more lamping it does , than ferreting , it will stop hunting up, and lamping your game ,, its already using beam and catching :thumbs: it will soon stop using its nose at night,Buck the same for 5-10 mins mad lol , but soon settles down to the job .

i will work him steadier mate. the penny will drop for him he will get to know the difference its just time. i dont mind missing a few rabbits early doors with the pup as hes learning.

i had got a figure total of a 100 rabbits to try and catch over this first season in my head, as long has i keep at him steady i think he will do that comfortably.

yeah mate its good. i spent alot of time with him as a real young pup lamping and jogging so theres a little bit of summit in him from the off set. weve got a decent working bond coming on now as i said earlier its just down to time and practice now. i am going to up his fitness levels just now i am going to increase his weekly exercise. he done a hour 20minutes steady walk this morning with me and buster hes on full rest until tomorrow night now.
