bouncers are people who are not intelligent enough to get a proper job.it's just 1 level above being on the dole.i made a fecker retire once.

why the snidy comment about intelegence,,,not everybody is academic and

nearly everydoorman i know does it as a second job,,usualy to earn extra cash,to provide for family,,,

come on then rocky,,,,why did you make a fella retire?

didn't mean it litrally TOMO about being thick.the 2nd bit is true but it's too long a story to type.he ran and was never seen again.
A little scenario for you GB.

A woman in your family wife.daughter.etc.

Is out on a girlys night out the men are at home.

And some drunk pervert attacks them.

But luckily for that girl a bouncer has seen it wether it be in the club.

Or the girl being dragged down an alley.

And the bouncer saved that woman from a terrible attack.

You wouldnt be able to shake that mans hand enough.

Ive knocked about with a few bouncers in my time and had some good laughs.

But i wouldnt want to get on the bad side of them.

As a claw hammer or being branded with a red hot poker wouldnt be much fun.

rape and beat the ladies in my family.?you'll have to be desparate and have a death wish.they aint small or lady like.

back on the subject of bouncers one of the best books ive ever read was by a guy called Geoff Thompson called "watch my back" . Its really really good and doesnt glorifyy anything and hes really open about his fears and weaknesses . Really great book that id recommend to anybody whether they are interested in that field or not

A doorman from eastbourne moved to my town and took over my local and lent me his copy . The video below is a take on part of his book . Really cant recomend it enough . Ive read lenny mclean , roy shaw , dave courtney and their all good books but nobody comes close to this book . The way he describes fear in minute detail and the fact that everybody in a fight situation is scared . Some deal with it easier/better or hide it better . Hard to explain , just buy it and read it

Yeh got his book,,he used to come to mansfield doing seminar type things, he was good friends with a local doorman,,getting deep in to the psyche about the fight and flight syndrome,,all that stuff,,,the three second fight and the fence intresting stuff

I've got two nephews whose dad's were well known on the doors in Nottingham in their time.....and I have to say they are both terrifying !
