squirreltail 15
Any one seen eyes with the iris like this? theyre one of my bitches eyes, she's got amazing eysight both day and night, is it unusual? Quote Link to post
skycat 6,173
The only time I've seen that is when the eye has been damaged at some time, which isn't to say that she can't see. I would think that is the cause, though I wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't bother her. Apparently David Bowie's green eye was caused by damage when he was young, and would have been the same blue as the other one before the damage! Quote Link to post

kreet 0
a mate of mine when i was at college had something the same except it was like his pupil had run from the centre right to the bottom of his eye like a jet black barr but as far as i know he could see fine and im sure it happend when he was a kid in an accident . rabbit slayer 22
A girl i know has eye's like a cat. She was born with them, it looks wild. But she now has to where special contact lenses because the pupil lets in to much sun light witch damages the eye's. Her contact lenses make her eyes look normal and reduces the amount of light let in through the pupil into the back of the eye. But her eye sight in the dark is awsum, because her eye's absorb more light than normal people in the dark it increases her vision. Quote Link to post

Paid 935
I thought it was quite common with dogs with collie in ? Isnt it called a tear eye ? Quote Link to post
MikeTheDog 153
It is quite normal and not necassarily caused by an accident. If your dog or kreet's mate had damaged the eye in any way you and he would have known about it. Madeline McCann has an eye like that if you remember the posters and I also have the same in my right eye. Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
Cheers for that: but could it have been caused by something else in the first place? In iridology they say that each mark on or in the iris reflects an abnormality, weakness or disease somewhere else in the body. http://www.chisuk.org.uk/bodymind/whatis/iridology.php I'm just wondering about this as I have no real experience of iridology, but a lot of things we know little of at the moment may well prove to be true in the future.
