A Sunday Session.

Had a very pleasant day out yesterday with the usual suspects.We decided to try out a leafy apple orchard with the long nets and the pup, all in all a good session with 10 rabbits and a rat.

Cheers for the write-up was a good day out. Worked well with the longets on those thick hedges. Should be okay for a lamp out late on Friday night, I'll keep an eye on the weather and we should be get a few. Bit flooded round here at the moment but the worst has now passed, may work to our favour and put a few more above ground for the night out. Chris.

That's a cracking photo of max!

Had a real good day out and was great to see both him and the ferrets settle down and start working properly after the long summer.

First hedge the ferrets wouldn't go down deep and we're hole hopping a lot and max was stood with his back to the Warren watching the field!! By the second Warren they twigged what was going on and the rabbits started bolting and max was there to pick up a few and snatch a couple from the nets.

I've only got a couple of photos of max's arse so no use posting them. I haven't had a chance to check the head cam to see if I got any footage. I'll try and check it out tomorrow.

He's doing good. still tries doing a parade lap with a rabbit but will now retrieve them if I get on my knees and do a girly voice! lol

Won't let go of the buggers either once there in his chops. Have to start carrying biscuits in my pocket again I think. He's had some real close runs daytime but not caught yet. I'll keep putting stuff in front of him and hopefully he'll get there.

I'm sure he will mate, all these pups have turned out nice, not exactly ferreting dogs but I'm sure they'll all fill the freezer....
