Jonjon79 13,358
I was just thinking about this today - it feels like it's been ages since I carried a couple of good rabbits back to the car. I do miss that The thing is, it's darker earlier, I'm knackered when I leave work and, I can't get on my favourite rabbit permission until 10pm. Although I do bitch about it, I really don't mind the cold. In fact, I don't really notice it when I spot a rabbit and start a stalk. f**k it, I'm going to sort it for Tuesday night .....I haven't been to the rugby club for a few weeks and, now that that bloody super moon is on the wain, it could be a good night 2 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,561
Although I much prefer air gun hunting to any other type of hunting, when things slow right down in the winter months my GSP and 12 bore kick into play, boy that dog can hunt. I also like a trap line or two in place. atb 3 Quote Link to post

moxy 617
Out at every opportunity. The rabbits are putting some good chunk on and full of healthy fat. Had a cracking night over the weekend. Fair old wind with sleet and snow. The rabbits we're sitting tighter than a Yorkshireman parting with cash. Some easy pickings and a good bag. charlie caller 3,654
Out as much as poss, not flying a hawk this year so its the gun, be it air rifle, shotgun, or rifle, oh and a spot of ferreting, duck shooting be it inland or on the foreshore is taking precedence at the moment, but I seem to have unlimited squirrels around this year so the air rifle is out a lot, foxing at night with the .243 just need to put a deer or two in the freezer now, oh how fuc*in work gets in the way. 1 Quote Link to post
