I couldn't find em anywhere even to try on but did find some Meindl boots of a similar type at one of those high street wanna be climber stores. I tried on a size 11 which I normally wear which seemed fine so ordered them and they're mint!

jayjay 264
well I took the plunge and let the wife get me these boots......... first impressions................., I thought they looked better quality in the photos of them on the net, than what they actually do in the flesh, struggling to work out in my head whether they are worth the £250 price tag on them, but i'm sure I will get over it........lol I thought that the lace links would have been of a better design, because the ones on these look like lace shredders with the sharpish edges on them, whether this is the case or not I am yet to find out.........and also the two leather flaps on the sides which the lace also goes around, I thought the rivets were left a little sharpish and eventually over time could start to have a fair bit of wear on the leather underneath them....... I have always had Lowa combat gtx boots and feel that they are nearer the value for money, but that's probably just me being fussy and hard to please as I don't really like change........ anyway, enough fault finding.........lol what do you guys use to keep these boots in good condition and to help keep them waterproof ??????? cheers, jay.
