It said somthing on the radio about the brain suffers from the strawberry effect when frozen . when you freeze strawberry and thaw it it just turns into mush the brain is the same. ?

IMHO Its all a big scam I do feel sorry for this young lasses perants loosing their child but I would have sooner donated that money to a kids hospice than pay for a non exsistent glimmer of hope that their child will one day live again.

spot on , but what i read the girl who 14, said she didnt want t die at her age, and would just like see out a normal age if she could have the chance reaching a life at another way. well then i dont blame her , 14 no feckin life , so if it was possible to extend her life in some way , well why not .

They must have conducted experiments with the cryo, even with lab mice or rats to see if it is possible to return them to life after being frozen even for a short period of time? Although I am just thinking aloud here, they can freeze eggs and sperm and they are still viable, so maybe just maybe it would be possible? I would not think that a body that has been ravaged by disease to the point that it died would stand much chance of being brought back though?

It's not backed by any science mate. Simply freezing tissue destroys the cells. Freezing sperm etc follows a special procedure, water is removed from the cells for instance. We can't freeze organs and successfully regenerate them yet, bodies are a way off. The problem with it is not just in how to 'defrost' them but also how to freeze them so as not to damage the cells.

They remove the moisture from the cells when cryogenically freezing something.

Theres people being frozed in america for years, theres actually a few things in nature that freezes over an wakes up in the thaw, insects i think, maybe an animal, il check it out

So they can now revive dead women that have been in a freezer for a few years. What bothers me is will they be able to talk,give evidence etc?
