bird 9,977
was walking the dogs to day on my norm dog walk, and most people ive met have been ok there dogs have been friendly , just like my 2 are, Bryn bit aloof but ok and friendly , Buck just bloody daft likes to play with them, he likes them to chase him, then once running he will start to course them lol, he dont hurt them just put his head over there neck , but it all play and all the dogs enjoy there selves . . well a bloke was walking down the lane with a big rottie male, think it kept as a guard dog i was told, the bloke wasn't that tall so suppose the dog looked even bigger that what it was lol. Ok fair enough he kept it on its lead, and stood still till i passed him. mine were loose they just looked at the dog, called them to me and put them on the lead until i passed .The bloke was just about holding it, . i thought to my self it must be hell owning a dog like that , i had a lurcher x lurcher bitch once like that vicious , i put it down in the end to dangerous . Buck a big dog fit and strong, but very well socialized , had him around people.dogs from 9 weeks old . both my 2 are very rarely on leads there biddable / friendly , i hate live like that bloke , i rather not have a dog than keep that . lurcherman 887 13,264
Mine are the same two pansies ,and people think there cool when they have dogs like that lol (aggressive) Quote Link to post
neems 2,406
If they're needlessly aggressive to people, especially children for no good reason they should be put down. If they're needlessly aggressive to other dogs for no reason they're just a massive pain in the arse to own,not worth owning imo. Quote Link to post

Northern Rock 512
Had a saluki grey, was lovely with people but mad protective of the two black terriers I had . Going back some years a lab turned on One of the terriers in some woods near to where we lived . He flew into it and shook it like no tomorrow. By the time myself and its owner got to it was too late. From that point he was an utter liability around strange dogs. Made it a night mare working him . This was pre ban and as well as long ears he was mustard around a hole but I couldn't take anyone else with another dog. Had him pts to keep the piece after he ripped lumps out of a crufts standard rottie. 28" and 70 lb he could do some damage. Terrier I have now backs away from any aggressive dog with her tail down, but , so far hasn't backed down to anything else . DA dogs are a pain 1 Quote Link to post

terryd 8,631
My dog acts an arse on a lead but off his very soft just stupid. He met a pug by accident one day and went and stood over the poor thing. It promptly snapped at him and he ran off and hid behind a tree. I was well chuffed at his response and much better than the alternative Edited November 19, 2016 by terryd Quote Link to post
