I try not to go any earlier than 12.00am

Sometimes go at 5:00am locally on a weekend if I'm awake. This does seem to be the best time for me. Get a hell of a lot of runs.

Even on permission I don't want to be seen by anyone in a house etc because I value being inconspicuous as one of the best traits of a good Lurcherman. It can take only 1 comment to be made before your permission is lost. My advice - treat your permission with the same respect as you would do if you were somewhere that you shouldn't be!

Like bobza says he tries not to get caught even when he's on his permission lol, think in general a lurcherman is about as welcome on the land as a jobby in the kitchen sink
