philpot 5,035
One of our members, Seamaster, had had two Compatto's, first had issues but the newer second one was a tackdriver according to Chris. He also bought an HW110 but that had to go back I think with barrel problems and I know of a couple of lads locally who have Compatto's and they love them. Phil 1 Quote Link to post

shaaark 10,915
Cheers JJ..he's a .22 springer through and through sort of lad, but seeing what the 100 (.177) does has got him thinking about pcp/multishot/.177. He's having one simple as! The 100/ Airmax/ Harris pod weight puts him off so i think weight is an issue more than looks around his perm. the 110 only weighs a few ounces less than a full size 100 The 110 is over a pound lighter than the 100 Quote Link to post

philpot 5,035
When I went to Charlie's place last week to tune my TX, I had a hold of the Brocock pictured here, very very nice. It is longer than I am used to but spot on balance in the shoulder. It is a pity they didn't make a bigger magazine for them. Phil Edited November 18, 2016 by philpot 2 Quote Link to post

The 110 IS over a pound lighter than a full length 100. I was going to get the 100kt myself, so borrowed a mate's for two weekends in a row. Excellent rifles, but not for me. Went to three rfd's and looked at and shouldered about a dozen different rifles, pcp's, hw100kt, and ks, full length hw100kt and ks, aa s410, aa s510 carbines and classics, a couple of brococks, but not a compatto, and the 110 was, for me, the better rifle by far. So that's my birthday present sorted, so now got to sort out my xmas present, and I do like the look of those compattos . Just to add, I don't go with all that 'fiddly' loading mechanism either, most pcp's are a bit fiddly, except the 100 series. I think loading an underlever springer is nearly as 'fiddly' as loading most pcp's. Once you get 'into' the loading of any rifle, you don't give it a second thought. Anyway, I'm away to do a bit of xmas shopping lol Edited November 18, 2016 by shaaark Quote Link to post

CC is the barrel on the s6 still weirhauch, or are they using LW barrels on all their range of rifles now? I had a jubilee a few years ago, and that had the weirhauch barrel Quote Link to post
