Waterproof Trousers

As i went beating on saturday and it was a wet day as it rained, it rained and it rained somemore, my waterproof trousers are getting abit old i have decided to get myself somemore, i was just wondering what other people have and if they are any good? I dont want to spend ££££ on them.

All I will say is that if you get out a fair bit......DONT SKIMP ON YOUR KIT!!...............being dry, warm and comfortable will let you stay out when others are running off home.

 

As for wax...........to be honest, when the weather gets bad its too cold and stiff..........much better materials about nowdays.

Waxed Leggins from WeatherWear. Cost about £15 a pair. I wear mine every day, fifty two weeks of the year. Have done for about five years now. And I not only have to walk through what ever there is; I have to kneel in it too. I'm too old to bend double at a rat box and find squatting a bit unsteady. So I just kneel down in the most appalling shit. Simply never give it a thought. I'm protected :yes:

I use Musto country trousers wear them most days either for beating or digging and they are A1 they cost around £90. Might get myself a pair of Harkila trousers for christmas they are about £160 a pair but are guaranteed for 5 years so not that bad.
