I think if I was taking my dog for his final walk the last thing I would want was every clown with a dog tagging along.

Each to there own but personally I'd not want 1 person with me and my dog in that situation . . No matter what we think though , yesterday would of been a real tough day for the bloke .

The good lady BB had a tear in her eye when she watched this, earlier in the week.   Whatever you think of him, the guy obviously thought the world of his dog, so good on him for giving the old thin

Just down the road from me, read it in the Sunday Mirror in the pub lol didn't know owt about it till then but Mrs says its all over her Facefcuk.

My dogs last walk is always personal, f**k that social media shite.

Cheers, D

I am not saying it was, but perhaps he needed what he done to have the courage to actually take the dog? When I seen it first with him carrying the dog in a blanket I though perhaps it was a little bit past the time.

anyone seen this...http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cornwall-37955748

lived to a good age for a whippet

Been there as well as many folk on sites like this, the dog deserved more respect than any audience could give it.At times like this many a mutt enters the earth without the false sentiment of an audience.

In life you shouldn't take yerself to seriously pal.

The last walk is the true test of the dogs owner, its the hardest last few yards id ever wish anyone to travel.
