As a part time commercial fisherman, I always use south east netting. They are cheaper than anyone else, and have a large stock. They are always very helpful if you give them a bell 01843 290000.

not a 2 and half inch mesh you fanny,,,,bigest you would really want is 2 and a quater,,,,but that red/brown stuff comes as 2 and an 1/8 ,,,its the 2.1/8 your after...

 

a 2.5 , mesh would make a 5 inch square mesh,,,to big mate....fecking amatures,, :whistling:

It's funny how terminology is different across the trades. As I'm a part time commercial fisherman, we always size the mesh across two bars, so it's the full mesh size. I reckon a multi mono trammel net would hold every rabbit that goes near it. Wouldn't want to clear all the twigs and shit out afterwards though

I want at least 50 and then I'm going to give away all my old mismatched poly and nylon and bits of stringy stuff to someone starting out.
