Goodnature Trap

Has anyone got any direct experience of this type of trap? Thoughts/comments? Would it be more efficient against say squirrels or rats than a similar outlay on a dozen fenns traps?

Saw it up at Solihull last week , can't really see the advantage for what I do , i'd rather check the traps , this looked like you set it and let it get on with it .

It's a very good piece of kit and is only licensed for rats in this country .. especially handy if your trapping a fair distance away as you will save a fortune in fuel ........

So have fourteenacre got it wrong by suggesting it's approved for stoat in England?

 

I'm not sure what impact, positive or negative, the presence of a number of dead rats would have lying around the trap. Maybe not brilliant in any sort of warm weather.

No we have not got it wrong. It is approved for Stoat and Rat in England under the 2015 STAO variation.

 

“Goodnature A24 Rat and Stoat Trap manufactured by or under the authority of Goodnature Limited, 4-12 Cruickshank Street, Kilbirnie 6022, Wellington, New Zealand. The trap may be used only for the purpose of killing stoats and rats. ”;
