I'm completely new to hunting, however not to rifle shooting in general. I live in Jarrow which is just outside Newcastle Upon Tyne, I have recently purchased a BSA .22 R10 Air Rifle and am extremely keen to learn as much as I can. I spent 26 years in the infantry and for the last four years struggled trying to adapt to civilian life, however shooting is helping me massively. I am currently shooting at local ranges, however my real aim is pitting myself against vermin and game, not just the shooting but stalking as well. Hopefully becoming a member here will help me meet like minded people, make new friends and develop my knowledge of the hunting and shooting scene. Hopefully I've not bored you stupid, thanks again, Shaun welcome Shaun....there's a lot of good guys/gals on here that will point you in the right direction, you have to tread carefully going into the air rifle section, there all married to each other, so it can be a bit clicky........... tell them you had a spring air rifle before you had the bsa r10, and they will go easier on you....... seriously tho...they will help you. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
