Gaz_1989 9,539
Woke up to a light frost this morning so got the dogs out hoping to bag something but no such luck. They had a good hunt around but couldn't find anything... So back home for a brew and some grub then nipped out with my hob to see if we could get a couple of bunnys for the pot. Met up with tommy27 who took his whippets... Managed a quick 2... Back home, skinned, gutted and soaking in salt water ready for rabbit and sausage casserole tomorrow. I've missed winter ? 17 Quote Link to post

Hear it a lot on here. I don't think it's any more bland than chicken or pork. It's all about what you do with it. For some reason people just boil it or roast it without doing anything to it. If you boil a pork joint or a few chicken legs in a pan of water it would be pretty bland too. I've had rabbit curry a couple of times, I like hare curry too using the saddles. This will be rabbit and sausage casserole tomorrow with honey and pork sausages and a bottle of cider in the mix. 2 Quote Link to post
jok 3,266
No mate. Not yet. Gaz has been hammering them with the rifle but we've that much ground to go on he's not denting them. I'll have a word when I get back from Scotland about getting you down here. Will you bring little 'un and would you want to stay Sat night.? Jok. Quote Link to post
