Rapid Spare Mag

I called into City Airweapons in Lincoln as we were passing through today, helpful chap and a Rapid man so I thought I would pick up a spare mag for my .22..........................£60.

I checked with a couple of other suppliers when I got home and again £60, how the hell can they charge that much for a plastic mag, crazy.

 

I am a newbie on the Rapid7 forum and as such I cannot place or respond to sales adverts on the forum so I missed a s/h mag today..........bugger.

My god. You met Adie then... Got some stories about him. I'm guessing you saw the gold plated rapid on the wall... They charge that much due to the mech, and 'what it is' rather than what it's made from. Wish I was there when you walked in.

 

He's fine as long as your spending but don't go on wishing to just try.

He said he does all repair work and mods to rapids but is he any good, he talks the talk but does he deliver at the end of it Rez. I had thought of contacting you to see if you were around but couldn't get the forum up on the phone, fcuking EE, supposed to be the best.......................................NOT.

I actually don't know. He's wanted to get his hands on my Rapids in the past but as much as I believe he does know what he's doing, I darent leave it with him. He's a good egg, but can be devastating rude at times. He has worked on them for years mind.

 

I don't know why I wouldn't leave my own rapid with him. Maybe if it was very wrong or needed some repair work, then he would be my first port of call. I do spend a good deal there from time to time, bought 4 of my past rifles from him.
