Well I guess we do have to make an effort to recycle our planets resources or so I read lol. It does make sense I guess but you would imagine there are other things they could do that would have more impact. But I suppose every little helps. But the food bins bug me lol with the little caddy bags and washing your plastics la de dah. If they that bother for the amount we pay them they could sorting it out and create a few jobs doing it

The council are going to start charging for the garden waste bin next year. They sent out a questionaire asking what we would do with it if we didnt have a bin, i put down burn it or fly tip.

They soon collected the bins after I rang them to tell them if they fail to empty mine one more time it's getting tipped all over the street. The choice to pay council tax should be optional ha

I am quite shocked at the costs..

Soil/rubble

This includes bricks, breeze blocks, concrete, drainage pipes (ceramic/porcelain), gravel, hardcore, paving slabs, rubble, sand, sanitary ware (ceramic/porcelain toilets, bidets, sinks, shower trays, pipes, etc), soil, slates/slabs, stones, tarmac, tiles (ceramic, porcelain, floor, roof, wall), glass and turf.

Cost: £3 per bag* or unit (e.g. a toilet)

Plasterboard

This Includes gypsum related products such as coving and ceiling roses. Plasterboard can only be accepted if it is separate from other material.

Cost: £4 per bag* or 180cm x 90cm sheet

Tyres

We can only accept motor vehicle tyres. These can be on or off the rim. We can’t take commercial or agricultural vehicle tyres. There is no charge for bicycle tyres.

Cost: £4 per tyre :censored:
