It has been proven to be "The Will Of The People By Democratic Vote" That we leave the EU. It has to taken then that this will be the act of Parliament to effect that exit. MPs must see that the will

Two sided Mirror is bang on right Mark.   Now I see the High Court is arguing that as Theresa May is an unelected Prim Minister it is for Parliament to decide. And that also means the UNELECTED HOUS

As I understand it,

The Law is now saying Theresa May's Government is an unelected body as Theresa May was not the PM when this whole Brexit/referendum thing began, but with David Cameron who was the elected Prime Minister. She has won the leadership contest for the Conservative party following Cameron's decision to quit, who just happen to be currently in Government and thus, she may be the PM but she is there by default and not an elected one as Cameron was.

Theresa May has used what is her Royal Charter which means, as the current Prime Minister she believes, as Prime Minister, elected or not, she can use her Royally approved warrant of Office as such to effect Brexit.

The Lawyers are saying she cannot. It was a referendum enacted by universal consent of Parliament and NOT the Government. Therefore it is a Parliamentary matter to decide and not a Government one to make.

In other words, the Law profession has spotted a nifty little loophole to make heap of millions in fees and costs, out of arguing further over Brexit. Only they can turn a Government decision of WHEN? into an argument of who has the right to say WHEN!

It's nothing to do with them as to how democracy as a concept is defined or what you or I voted for. Nobody in Office then or now had any idea we would have the balls to vote out. Now we have, nobody knows really what the f**k to do!

But the Lawyers know how to milk a cash-cow when they see one!

If it becomes a matter only Parliament can decide, we will all be dead of old age by the time they make their minds up. Corbyn alone will dither and fudge his way over this and will never reach a point of accord with anyone but himself!

And the air rifle to buy in the face of all this? Is a German Springer or PCP! We will still be buying Weihrauchs and other German goodies like pellets and scopes and Volkswagens and Audis. And the Germans will only be too happy to sell them all to us. Brexit or no Brexit!

Only we British can cook up something so utterly inept as a point of Law with an absolutely hypocritical point of contradiction in it! :rtfm::nono::(

it is all BS, and every Court in the land knows it. If every one thinks that it will not happen, then do not vote ever again, or do not accept any election result as the will of the people, or as fact. The acts and all legislation of all and every coalition Governments will be null and void as they was not voted in by the people. All legislation made by any caretaker Government or Prim Ministers will also be made null and void. The law works both ways if they want to go down that road.

So are we leaving then or not?

Back to that old question... :)

Yes, we are leaving, it's like buying a car, you can't just walk up and buy a car, you haggle over it until you get the best deal. We don't want to get dumped with all the refugees in an unseen clause, or worse, 40 years of law have to be changed, don't know if I'd fancy that job.

If they overturn the will of the people...there is going to be trouble

There will be no trouble people are bizzy watching tv , listening to radio ,some reading news papers and they believe it all . Thats when they take a break from computer games and videos . The media , politicians and top legal bods pump out one big lie 24 7 like any soviet run dictatorship .The will of the the people is just POPULIST rubbish that is why we have a democracy so politicians can make the correct decision . You can see the problem with asking the populus to answer the brexit problem they got it wrong now the professionals will make the choise for us like always . if they do the sheeple will agree as always .

So your saying that what ever we, the people of this island, decide, it's actually up to private school suits to make the real decision for us? I don't know how happy about that I would be. It's makes me feel irrelevant, even though I'm paying for stuff, i.e. Taxes and shit.
