Towards the end of the referendum campaign, he issued similar 'warnings', which even the most ardent Re-Moaners completely ignored !

At the time both Kinnock Jr and Benn Jr - hardly from successful bloodlines themselves - distanced themselves and their campaign from his comments, and didn't welcome his intervention at all.

 

I think that, in this country at least, 'Brand Blair' has become so toxic that if he told us the time of day, no-one would believe him !

I don't understand why there is a debate about accepting any or all of the single market, the customs union, free movement and all the rest of it........which do we want, would we trade one for another etc etc etc..........

 

 

Why are we even thinking about accepting membership requirements of an organisation that we voted to leave ?

 

Owen Smith has made clear that he, and others, will try to water down the government's position, and will even go as far as trying to include a requirement for a second referendum into any new legislation - "remain through the back door !"
