shropshire dan 467
Cheers. I'VE ordered the AA fields in 4.52 as I know from using AA fields in .22 calibre previously they are a very soft lead pellet. Thanks for the heads up. 1 Quote Link to post
Graham M 36
I know it won't be of much use, but I have been shooting a .177 pellet called "Match Kugeln" at the range and they really are super accurate. They are a wad-cutter of course but as such would make an excellent rat pellet. 2 Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
For any Weihrauch springer you HAVE GOT to try H&N FIELD TARGET TROPHY And experiment with different headsizes. All three of my HWs (HW80 .22. HW77 .22 and HW97K .177) loves em! Quote Link to post
mhopton 807
Honestly mate you'll need Ro fire half a tin before your barrel leads up properly I've gone out and tried most makes and weights at hunting distance (30+yrds) with a few HW,s and always always go with the superdome put a tin through it you will see what i mean Quote Link to post
shropshire dan 467
Cheers chaps. I took delivery of a load of sample packs today. Rws, ftt, fap, aaf, and a fair few others. I'm getting out for a few hours tomorrow to test them all and hopefully find a couple brands she likes. I'm hoping to zero at 30 yards. I've never really used a .177 so will start at 30 yards and see how it goes once I'm comfortable with the trajectory as apposed to a .22. Quote Link to post
