Steve Thomson 24
What would be better for a second gun 1 Quote Link to post
Rez 4,957
Terrus mate... Just to mix it up a bit. The 99 will perform better with some lovin' but the terrus will be fine from new. Don't see many so it would be sweet to hear about something a bit different. Quote Link to post

just-A-snap 1,269
Hw99 all the way! Good to see you Davy. As to the rifle, the one that you feel most comfortable with and sits within the use you have in mind for it, not every rifle sits well with everyone or lives up to expectations. Even the supposedly best throw out more duds that one would imagine. All the best Edited November 3, 2016 by just-A-snap 1 Quote Link to post
Steve Thomson 24
Why those two? I want decent springer but I don't have a very big budget Quote Link to post
PeskyWabbits 464
I think they are about even. But... I think you would regret not buying the Hw99 as it has a wider customer base - more tuning and fixing solutions. I know people with Hw99s but no one with a Terrus even though it has been out a while and has a good reputation. Quote Link to post
jonnie bravo 572
99. Internally speaking, designed better. Mine was spot on out of the box, 4fps spread, and dam smooth, with tuning, super sweet to shoot. Quote Link to post
Steve Thomson 24
I think I'll go with the 99s because of the fact it's smaller and would there for be more convient for me Quote Link to post

I wondered if you favoured a lightweight rifle for any reason Most forums have pretty good sales sections. If you have a look around, you could probably get more for your money But, from the 2 you mentioned, I've only tried the 99. I liked it. Quote Link to post
