If they have been dead for some time start at the crop and work slowly down the breast and don'tpull to many feathers off at a time then then the rest is easy Quote Link to post Share on other sites
neil cooney 10,416 Posted November 3, 2016 Report Share Posted November 3, 2016 I've never hung plucked birds but do know that plunging them in hot water does work. But I rarely do it. Rough shot Pheasant rarely are corn fed so skinning is the handiest option and that's what I do. If they need some fat I drape some rashers across them.
