Bushing Dog Not Barking

Well lads I was out at the weekend with my young teagle and he flushed a fox out of cover but he's mute when on them any tips on how to get him to bark when on fox and rabbit thanks

Some just dont bark.have seen pleny of teagles that dont bark.your best chance would be to try and get out with a few that are barking might encourage him to open.

A good lurcher should no were the bolt will be..swings and roundabouts..if your somewhere you shouldn't be.

I only after starting bushing so don't know much about it and no one around me keeps bushing dogs I'll keep going out with him and see what happens thanks mighty celt .. it's not the lurcher I'm bothered about its not finding the teagle when he takes off after something mate

That's were recall comes in handy mate..now I no that can be a problem when the dogs keen and death..

Ye he comes back when I call him but I'd like him to stay going until the lurcher catches it or it goes to ground and if he gets a couple of fields away I won't know where the f****r is

Ye I've a good bit of permission most of it still has cattle out so but they should be in in the next few weeks so could organise something then if you wanted or I could spin to you it makes no odds to me

would love a mute busher to bring lurcher pups on with have made a few pups yapp following the bushers picked up there voice
