king 11,984
Some wild stuff talked on here about dogs. I honestly think most lads/lasses.on here look at a dog and think its a robot. Just feed it crap.leave in a kennel then expect to take it out and the dog will perform 100% everytime. If it doesent the dogs shit.a yapper a jacker etc.it doesent listen recall etc. How many times have you got out of bed and havent felt 100% Dodgy stomach.back aches a bit.arm is aching.very slight headache. Or simply just feeling a bit weak. Theres a hell of a lot more to working dogs than takeing it out. But saying that theres allways been messers in all games.for 100s.of years. Theres lads on here who have worked dogs longer than most members have been alive. But the young lads will still argue like feck. That you shoukd do it like this or that. You go and play most sports and theres a coach to give you help and advice wether it be rugby.fottball tennis etc. But some lads think they know best. And think feck listening to him. I know better attitude. The dog game is very strange. Rant over. 2 Quote Link to post

nottzhunter08 898
No matter what sport etc there will be good and bad, all you can do is try keep away from the clowns, I myself was shown the ropes of how to lamp etc of my uncle, and I think if it wasn't for seeing him in action i would of probably gone about it different at the start but I was shown what to do luckily, I think the thing is with most young lads getting into dogs now is they want to skip the bonding training etc and jump straight into the chasing and expect too much from their dogs, social media sites only show the good side of dogs, Edited October 31, 2016 by nottzhunter08 Quote Link to post
trigger2 3,146
i agree with most of what you say. there may well be lads on here that have worked dogs longer than some members have been alive but it dont mean they have been doing right for all those years mate. that bit bugs me about folk some time. 2 Quote Link to post
