stealthy1 3,964
Get out with someone and see what's involed, because it can be a bit of graft sometimes sorting and cleaning out every day. And that effort doubles when you've had a long week at work, and then dedication kicks in. 1 Quote Link to post

I can give it long works 2/3 times a day still.. opinions please are you with your parents ?, if so what do they say about it, a dog a dog what ever the breed, they all need time, patience, money= food/vet. lurchers are great type of dog, great pets good temps, healthy , and not expensive to buy comp to ped dogs, and if you get one you got any where to work it, as you wont drive so be limited where you go. i have had them 30 years, but was in to bull breeds, before i had lurchers so was used to having dogs about me, have a good long hard think about it 1st , if you know few blokes with lurchers by where you live tag along with few times just to see whats its all about. green dragon 701
Im up at 6 get out with the dogs for a quick half hour before i start work at half 7 till 5 home at half 5. then stright out with the dogs for walk do a few miles say we usually home for half 7ish . then a feed that depend if we are heading out on the lamp for the night. then thers the picking up shit cleaning kennals, vets bills and careing for them when sick or injerd . And when your mates will be going on holidays/going away and you wont be and some days you cant be arsed but you just have to lol but when its just you and the dogs on the battle field it make all the picking up shit is worth it. You will forget about your gun. Edited October 30, 2016 by green dragon 2 Quote Link to post
