Devon And The Deer Population

Hi, I have been offered a farm in Devon close to loddiswell, just wondering what the deer population is in that area ?

It's a farm to move onto, I will be going down for a look at some point if I decide the move is for me, I was wondering what the deer shooting opportunities are in the area, as what species and are they prolific or not.

 

I believe there are reds but possibly further west and north west.

Thanks, Would like to look into that, only ever culled some park Sika, never a wild beast.

Loddiswell is about 20 miles from me and it has roe but there is fallow nearby and red further but very few if any muntjac

mainly Roe but i have seen munjac around Totnes.

Plenty deer ? reds roe fallow sika. Also some of the best huntin country in the country. Few boar making a move around the place as well ??
