When I was younger everyone's opened the door dog went out on it own , came home in evening , now no one picked up dog poo we just steped over it but to be fair the street sweepers cleaned it up . Should you have to pick it up and what would you do to make folk ??

Now that people tend to clean up after their dogs the streets and playing fields near me are more pleasant to walk in, as you don't end up dodging the dog shite. Like spitting chewing gum over the street, it seems to have become bad etiquette not to clean up after your dog in urban areas.

To many dogs in this country now,it has to be cleaned up,as said on here other day,it's the twats that bag it up then launch it into first patch of growth they find that want a hiding.

the dogs were fed on bones from the butchers, the shit was white and the kids had an endless supply of chalk to play hopscotch, know one went blind, know one got fined, and the hedges were not decorated with bags of shit everytime Autumn came round, I think shit picking is one of the worse things ever, the turds are now wrapped in a bag that will last years were as it just washed away with the rain before,

Don't see the problem like guy says rain etc wil wash it away . We never picked up years ago when dog was let out roam . Just something else to moan about !!!
