DogFox123 1,379
Might be a different topic, but I've been on nights for a month, yesterday was my first night off and it's been shyt. I don't know how anyone does this long term,no family time,no hobbies, been to the gym twice this month. I don't do any lamping so the dog's not had much time out and I'm writing this at 6 am having not slept. Money isn't everything,i'd rather be doing a 9-5 job on minimum wage than be stuck in this routine. I detested nights, that's why I'm struggling to get back on the railway. My old job was 95% days whereas most jobs are on nights. I detest nights with a passion as it sets off my insomnia, after a week of no sleep I'm a broken man.
DogFox123 1,379
Us humans are programmed to sleep at night time and it's got to be bad for your long time health. Saying that I know loads of lads who love nights and wouldn't dream of doing days. If I could get 8 hours solid sleep then it wouldn't be so bad but all I get is 2-3 hours max, no good.
dytkos 17,819
I do a mixture of nights and days, more nights atm as we got people off sick, no time during the days apart from routine stuff but ok when i get 3 or 4 days off together. Cheers, D.
