Well lads, she is now back to her original self, got the phone call this evening .

 

My gunsmith has replaced the piston seal, breech washer, main spring and was also de- greased and modern lubes applied.

She is averaging 11.75 ft/lbs and I`m told to keep an eye on her .

 

Pick her up tomorrow night

That's great mark I bet your exited! Are the piston seals leather in them? Nice to hear you kept it original. Are you tempted to fettle it?

Hi Tom,

 

Just wanting to re-live my youth a little and then all the years after.

I shot the FWB Sport 127 from 15 yrs old to now 54 with good success but with mill dot scopes mostly.

I`m going to shoot her under a classic Tasco scope 4x40 ( no milldots), a real test of marksmanship and field craft I think
