MIK 4,763
No worries ...I bought my young lad one of these this season he's only nine and has nearly mastered it https://www.anglingactive.co.uk/shakespeare-oracle-exp-switch.html?sel=16310&gclid=Cj0KEQjwqMHABRDVl6_hqKGDyNIBEiQAN-O9hASAk72Z_MOyWLvs45Ue2_wYpPEAuyv5K1-USD_Gb6IaAsyq8P8HAQ An unbelievable rod for the price not just the action but the quality of the blank ,rings and handle ....a very forgiven rod as well ...I have the 11ft set up with airflow forty plus lines that act like a shooting head that roll casts with eeze but easier to cast than skandi heads so ideal for a beginner . If truth be known I picked up this rod more than my more expensive set ups the past few outings last month I was fishing with a famous footballer that fished with it for a few days and went out and bought one . I can't recommend these rods enough for value for money Hope that helps Quote Link to post
jok 3,301
Well well. Common ground and what a nice result. I hope everything works out well and the lad gets the benefit of what friends are all about. Jok. Quote Link to post

midnighthunter 78
got to agree with what mike is saying about that rod you would be amazed at the amount off experienced anglers that have took to the oracle rods now all I hear is got it as a back up every time you see them wits in their hand the oracle good gesture by the mik Quote Link to post
South hams hunter 8,926
I've a pair of linneaffe chests, they're cheap as chips and last well. I abuse mine, I use them beach, rocks and estuary aswell as crab potting Quote Link to post
MIK 4,763
Wouldn't be very good for salmon fishing Quote Link to post
lifelong cumbrian 1,826
As MIK says the shakey oracle is a fantastic rod for the money. Quote Link to post
