scottish lurcher 185
Decent off road with good tyres and a suspention lift there a decent motor although I prefer Diesel engines , decent load area . But it like how fast you want to go how much money you got !! Depends how serious off roading your going as the comp defenders can cost £20 grand new then spend same again for off road upgrades . Cheap decent off road though !! Edited October 26, 2016 by scottish lurcher
tomburras 2,730
Anyone drive a 1.6 petrol suzuki vitara what they like I owned and run one daily for 3 years and it never let me down. Very thirsty on petrol tho. It passed 3 mot tests without needing anything. I didnt have to repair snything and the only things on it that cost where when I lifted it and mud tyres. I sold it to my parents severel years ago and they still have it. Its been just as good for them only needing an exhaust and services annually. The bodywork is now rusting but it's still solid. It's great in snow and off road. It goes up steep hills better than my defender but the ground clearance let it down before it was lifted. It was a great little 4x4! How much does it cost roughly to have a 4x 4 lifted ? and does it effect it on the road at all having i lifted ?
tomburras 2,730
On the vitara i used lift spacers, strut spacers and camber bolts top and bottom if I remember right. Wasn't expensive about quid DIY but not a proper job.
