You do not seem to able to grasp what I was implying, so I will spell it out for you. The reason they have to travel further and further is because they decimate the rabbits in ever increasing circles

A good feat without a doubt, but ever wonder why they have to travel so far? How long before it's 6 hrs or more travelling? Rabbits are not an infinite resource. A hard winter, vhd, mixie all take the

Must be really short of food to take all those rabbits, unless there is still hundreds of rabbits still about.

Not my cup of tea, but maybe I'm wrong.

Surely it's about testing man and dog? Pushing that bit further.

 

Plus when you're travelling 3-4 hours plus (each way) why aren't you going to make the most of it?

Some places hold no rabbits local..so one must out the miles in..and to do so you want a half decent bag to make it worth your while..and the dogs..the places were a that many rabbits are took will be left to next year to re stock..lads who do this out miles in on foot with out a dog to find these spots and when the nights right hit it...

Thing is now days every man and his dogs at it. The lurcher is the new weed .lol..take the f***ing game before they do..or them shooters..myself be happy with ten rabbits..but put them miles in.and come home with ten or 50... al chose 50 .fuel paid.dog got worked man got worked...

I travel all over the country to work my dogs mate. 3-4 hours is nothing. Done 5 hours and would do 6 hours no problem.
