Hey you all wanted to see what you all would think about a trap plan I have seen in a few places it a hole in the ground with bait in the bottom and 4 sticks put in the rim with a snare lop layed over the sticks with the idea being when something like a fox puts it paw in after the bait the snare would close as it pulled out of the hole what would you all say would it sounds like it would work

Well it would be perfectly ok with our laws and I don't know why you would say stupid for and the name is a sign of pride because we are survives also guys like me and my ancestors were the ones that help run the red coats out of the country and probably saved a lot of the U K from the Germans in the 40 lol so if there is a reason would be a bad idea would be more than happy for you to point it out because I would be the first one to say I could be wrong but there is no need for name calling and put downs because we can all be wrong or have a bad idea from time to time

Thats ok, calm down - I thought it was a funny name!

 

You dont want to catch a fox by the paw....Its inhumane and unnecessary - A good snare set properly on a run will work better

Oh ok my bad sorry I am still learning as I go so I was wondering would you say the same thing with a steal jaw trap or is it just the snare also how can it be inhumane it about the same as when we use rop to catch cow and houses with

Excuse are English humour ,,,,buddy , you can get a great deal of help on here , but you can also read a lot more crap....I hope you are not trying to catch houses !!!!

did you keep and breed a litter of pit x greys , i thought i seen the name and country on another site . ? and you did some cage fighting think you were middle weight fighter . i prob got the wrong bloke lol

Kyboy44 you would look into foot snaring with passive snares. Theirs a few live market guys who use it for Fox and yotes. I k now one guys who's looking to start trying it with hogs.
