The single quilts are cheep at BnM at the minute so I grabbed four for the the dogs( I like to swap them once a week and hang them to air for a day or two) .A cheep silky quilt cover to put on the quilt so the dogs can't rip it open. I have just lined there kennels with underlay as well

wax paper is the best, norm the greyhound people (trainers ,kennels etc) have it. if you can contact any by you you get some then, not cheap but bloody good stuff  . i dont bother now i just use blankets for them to lay on, and when gets real cold i use the heat lamps, but both my lurchers have good thick coats , being 1x gsd x grey and 1x collie x grey

Mine are on straw have been for years,I had them on paper a few years ago to try it but for some reason they were forever eating it.Not nice when there bunged up with it and having to give them a hand to pass it .

I've tried everything over the years-come home to it all around the runs, last few years I use shavings-6 pound a bale.when it's real cold I give them a warm meal in the evening and a little something warm first thing in the morning before i go to work.atb dc

gutted. What are you using now?

I don't think.vet bed is all that tp be honest. Even vet bed and the fleece I don't think it's that good for him. Might be over the top, but rather him be warm.

That's a shame but I've sure if you give the track the ring they will have a contact for the guy or somebody else selling it.
