.....not a bad idea, I might try it. Take 15 dogs out, £10 an hour each....tip the whole lot into a decent bit of cover and see which hunt

What is it with the dog walkers that bag the dog shit then throw the bags into bushes/trees ?

Got to admit it's a job I couldn't do, if you've got to hire a dog walker chances are you haven't taugh your dog basic manners, and I can't be doing with dogs that don't listen

Most of them are just house wives who buy a van, and no liabilty insurance friend of mine hit a dog that was off the lead and damage his car turns out it was a dog walker she told him he would have to claim of the owner , turns out she didn't have insurance how many of them in it for a quick pound know nothing about dogs . he had to claim of his own car insurance as it wasn't worth the hassle taking the dog walker to court .

Probably professional dog walkers, doing it for a living. A lot of folk get dogs but then find they have no time to walk them or lose interest. I have a few that turn up where I work and tip loads out of estates or vans, let them empty out then load them up and feck off. It's a public place as well and they're all off leads. There is dog shit bins but I'm yet to see any go further than what I call dog shit alley?

Dont think theres any limit on the numbers they can walk if there charging by the hour there wanting as many out at a time they can manage , but they should have public liability insurance , if there using a vehicle should they no have business insurance

You should be able to find out from your local council website. In the borough of Greenwich the website shows lists of dog friendly areas as well as places where dogs are not allowed etc.

  • Dogs are not allowed where there are 'No Dogs Allowed' signs
  • in all other open-air public places throughout the borough, you should not have more than four dogs under your control
  • you are required to clean up after your dogs
  • you need to keep your dogs on a lead unless you are in one of the Royal Borough's 'dog friendly' parks and open spaces in the borough
  • in 'dog friendly' parks and open spaces you may be asked to put your dog on a lead by an authorised officer.

Unfortunately it's all a load of bollocks as none of it is enforced, in fact I have never seen a dog warden in the area. What I do see is plenty of dog shit, dogs not under control, some of which are aggressive and some that don't know what a command is, off the lead whilst walking the streets etc.

I no longer use one of the local parks due to inconsiderate dog owners, and I pick the times when taking my dog to another park, generally to coincide with dog owners whose dogs are of similar temperament to my own.

If there's any barbed wire, you may struggle to make any profit.
