terryd 8,724
Yes quite some thing what a few stitches can fix or help fix and I think the sooner is better. The vet seemed happy to be sewing mine up a few hours after it happened Quote Link to post
Dalemcf90 2
I have had him at vets they gave him jags and told to wrap as skin was torn away so wasnt able to be stretched for stitches. Bit swelling this morning but looking better already still not walking on it but only been 36hours Quote Link to post
Kiellovesannie 24
Trip to the vets I'd say it's a nasty gash that needs stitching for sure if in doubt and unsure a vets opinion is the best for injuries atb Quote Link to post
bird 10,013
Trip to the vets I'd say it's a nasty gash that needs stitching for sure if in doubt and unsure a vets opinion is the best for injuries atb +2 , it must be right twat of a dog to do that, more so a springer , it wouldnt do it again i make sure of that , the wound looks more like a cut than a bite, as above right to the vets get it stitched and jabbed up to stop infection Quote Link to post
hewastheboy 77
Yea vets but if they did stitch it they would have to debraid the edges back to fresh tissue to get it to knit together should of took it straight away then gav your mates dog a lead pill right between the eyes 2 Quote Link to post
slip lead 862
That will need a bit more than salt water and f***ing honey. Get it to a vet before you get a visit 4 Quote Link to post
forest of dean redneck 11,802
Never seen a springer inclined to do that much damage,in all fairness I wouldn't want put weight on it either of that was mine. 1 Quote Link to post
