Yeah,Italy tats,Lowa are as good but these are just such a comfortable fit. I thought i had read they were made in Italy mate thanks for confirming it. I have had the Zamberlan boots before made in Italy and found them a bit narrow fitting that's one of the reasons I chose hanwags with the wide fitting i don't know if crispi do wide fitting. 1 Quote Link to post

tatsblisters 10,269
I have come to the conclusion regarding the best boots it comes down to buying and trying. Some of these YouTube videos and online reviews can imo be biased towards the product. I remember watching a YouTube vid of the grisport gamekeeper boots some years back so bought a pair and after a wile they started leaking. I remember years ago most of the lads especially lads i come across with the hawks were buying the Le Chamue high boots a brand you don't seem to hear much about these day's. 2 Quote Link to post

Yeah,it will go with that,I tried a few different boots on in the UK,including Crispi which fit me best, bought them mail order here as I didn't want to carry them in my hand-luggage.They have a really good rep in NZ and the states with people who wear them in really rugged terrain. 3 Quote Link to post

Couple times iv been shopping honestly couldn’t pick a pair betweeen the go to contenders, the meindl, altberg, lowa an other pairs that most folk wear, it really is personal preference as most do the job Edited January 7 by WataWalloper 1 Quote Link to post

I think if I was doing any spade work I would opt for the hiax or altberg military boots due to being cheaper. I was in two minds abit back to give the minds dove gtx a go. 1 Quote Link to post

Soon as i saw they were Italian made it put me off with having some trouble with the Zamberlan boots that wernt the comfortableist boots in the past. Quote Link to post
