Mamba Lite

Recommended Posts

Just opened a few parcels that have been delivered today, one of them is the Mamba Lite scope I bought on flebay Sunday night. On first viewing, very impressed with both the glass and the weight. Never had the Christmas tree recticle before but I am sure I will get used to it.

A change round of scopes tonight/tomorrow morning, Mamba Lite onto the Ultra, the Nikko Mountmaster onto the TX and the Varmint from the TX is already off and possibly fit to the Rapid when I get it.

I have some serious thinking to do regarding rifle line up after I get into the Rapid because it is likely that my HW100KT laminate stock will not get used very much and I may sell it and go for a Wildcat. The HW has an almost new MTC Genesis 5-20x50 s/f AO, ir which is nothing short of superb BUT twice the weight of the Mamba Lite. If this Mamba Lite is as good as I think it is going to be, I may well buy another Lite and sell the Genesis, already got my eye on one .

Oh decisions decisions :hmm:

Well I just have not had time to go to the perm or to the range only played in the garden with it and I must say, I like it very much. I have decided to buy another couple over the coming months to use on other guns. The weight is spot on, glass is spot on and the recticle is spot on, what more could I ask for.

The only thing I don't know is what it is going to be like in low light, dawn and dusk because the Genesis is fantastic and that may be the only downside but we will have to wait and see with that aspect.
