so have I but a whippet isn't going to kill multiple foxes in a night all season and sooner or later it will meet the wrong character and spew it.

Over the 20 odd years I had lurchers the best fox dog I ever had the pleasure to see work didn't have a drop of bull in it and I've seen a good few with what you call the right sort of bulldog in them. The bitch was deerhound x greyhound and sertainly had self preservation coz she soon learnt how to take them with minimal damage to her self

Any dog that's constantly trying to not get bitten is going to be missing foxes.

By no means if she got in a position to strike she had her fox same as any lurcher needs to be with in distance to make contact

I don't understand why people talk about what bulldog is added to greyhound all it is added for is more muscle mass and a stronger head I for one know for a fact a decent greyhound lacks nothing in the way of prey drive

there s spewers in bull terriers as there is in greyhounds. Every greyhound does nt have great prey drive and a lot of bulls would tuck their tail up their arse if they were nt having it their own way. Hence the amount of shit that's being bred from cos it has a good head or has killed a few foxes.don t agree with u on that mate sorry

And where did I say trying not to get bitten mate I said minimal damage I never seen a dog take multiple fox in one night and get away Scott free but a dog that has the size and strength and also knows how to pick up rather than smash into a fox to me is a better dog

i did read it . U said u don t see the fuss about what bull is used and I do . I said every greyhound does nt have prey drive. So if u used a decent greyhound why then would nt u use a decent bull ?
