i can see a lot of you boys use these blue barrels for dog beds. im in the market for some smaller ones. im an absulute plum when it comes to this sort of thing i was wandering where you boys get them from? little 30 litre ones would be spot on?

Thing to watch with barrels is condensation if it collects and runs down into the bedding what we have done with barrells is to cut i one inch slit at the top then put another piece over that with a 1/4 inch gap between them so they can breath

that's what's great with the adblue barrel. Just take the cap off of the top slightly.

I used to not follow the line all way round but cut across in straight line leaving a bit at bottom,it stops the bedding coming out,when dog gets in an out.

I cut mine the same as redneck ,and drilled a few holes to combat condensation -beddings bone dry I top it up every other weekend. Also screwed a piece of wood at the front,one bitch is a chewer lol.always built ply boxes but they get chewed and end up stinking of piss etc,barrels Are the way forward imo wish I got on them years ago.think I payed 26 pound for 3 posted.atb dc

I used to pay tenner for Lurcher sized barrel an fiver for mango chutney sized barrel that would take a sack of feed.

Edit to say was few years ago.

There was place couple mile from my house that would sell them uncleaned slightly cheaper.
